During the two days we wandered the streets we met a couple of characters and also documented some of the modern street art decorating the streets. As you may know PR is going through a crisis, themes such as government, social economic classes and the overall struglle of the working class have been the hot button topics of the last few years.

This image for me is touching since it was taken during his first loss. Facing a younger, bigger and hungrier opponent all the while Calderon was entering the final stages of his career. He would retire a few fight later.
This time the shot features Christopher “Pitufo” Diaz another local boxer who is a rising star in the sport. His fast and furious style is a fan favorite here and a steady winning streak increases his stock.

Yesterday I was on assignment for a local music blog called Sol Borincano. The job was basically covering European rock pop band La Oreja de Van Gogh.
